2016 Berks Festival of Trees: A New Opportunity to Support Better Healthcare for the Region
In keeping with our mission to help improve community wellness this holiday season, we’ve joined with the DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel Reading to introduce a series of holiday fundraising events to be celebrated as the 2016 Berks Festival of Trees.
We’re asking local businesses and individuals to sponsor trees, which they will decorate. Decorations should be unique and creative that captures attention. Companies can use their products or other inventive ways to decorate the trees in a unique and attractive way. Trees will go on display November 2nd at the DoubleTree and commence with a tree lighting ceremony.
All sponsored trees will be photographed and added to a Facebook page where they can be “liked” and “shared.” The tree with the most “likes” will win one of the many prizes available. Trees will remain up for public view at the DoubleTree until December 2nd, when there will be an auction for each of the trees and other donated holiday items.
